FUSION 1914 was on exhibit as part of Heart of the City in 2017 at Redchurch Gallery on Gore Park.
1914 saw two buildings added to Hamilton’s downtown core on King Street East – The Royal Connaught Hotel and The Bank of Nova Scotia. The distinctive façades of both buildings inspired me to create a work that captures the decaying beauty of a bygone era and reflects on the revitalization taking place around Gore Park today.
Fusion 1914 combines the elegant masonry arches of the hotel with the imposing stone façade of the bank to fashion a new and unique heritage building. SOLD
