The body of my photographic work depicts different ways of seeing by focusing on abstractions and highlighting fragments of a greater whole. By so doing, I hope to entice viewers to look at ordinary and everyday things in a more perceptive way.
The series of photographs below was taken at Pier 4 in Hamilton harbour. They abstract fragments of ‘Canadian Transfer’, a massive ocean-going freighter that serves Hamilton’s once thriving steel industry.
